Five Inspirations For Spending A Christmas Present

By a Christmas Present, I don't mean a gift you unwrap, but a gift you are.  A gift you give your Self and All of us by being who you are.  Simply taking a next step, or even a first step toward being who you are, by showing (or showing up even more) as the person you know you really are.

Look, listen deeply right now.  Inside you there is a voice, a Truth, a Name, calling you back to who you really are.  It is simple.  It is a Heart inside your chest, a beat that is not a human time clock, but a remembering that you are simple being who loves.  A being who listens, who understands the beat of Now, the Pulse of Love.  Not Love that says, I will love if you do this or that.  I will love you if you give me this or that but, simply, says, "I Love."  This voice may be buried in you or it may be shouting out loud but It is there.

Here are five ways to help you remember that voice and to spend a Christmas Present:

1) Take My Heart and Share It With Those You Love.  "Take my Heart," may sound immense, but think of it this way, your Heart is an open gift.  You Heart can never be stolen.   It can never be taken until you give it and then it is like a endless vat of Love, like an opening to the sky.  If you believe or envision your Heart as the opening to the sky, imagine how generous you can be with Love.  Love is endless.  You can shower us All with Love and there will still be more Love.  Love opens Love.

Take my Heart and Share It With Those You Love is also an invitation from the Divine to do the same.  It is an invitation from God for you to take the Heart of God and give it to All, to everyone, to anyone, to each.  We are constantly invited to do this in All Ways.  Thank you for any way you can and do this everyday.

2. Be My Truth And Say You Are.  Start to shine.  As much as you can, today and all days, let go of shyness and hiding, step out and be seen as the Good person you are.  I remember hearing an inspirational saying for parents, "catch your child being good."  Start to catch yourself being Good, for you are Good and you know it.  Spend this day, enacting, in each breath acting as the Good you know you are. 

3. Live In My Love and Savor My Voice Forever.  Pause, Love, Listen, I AM there.  Remember God/Love is All around, with/in you All Ways.

4. Be That You Are and Welcome That I Am.  See God or Love or Light in another.  It is there.  I Am there.  Welcome It and to It.  You are Welcome.  Read "The Difference Between a Person and a Soul" for more inspiration on this one.

5. Love.

The Glory of Love is that It has zillions upon zillions of perfect metaphors to inspires us, perfect pieces of advice so for us to swallow.  And, All of those inspirations, those words and images that are so rich they feel like you could take them from the air and eat, drink and live on them.  I'm offering five, offer your heart as many as you can take and live, live, live in and on them.  For They are Love and Love is what You Are.

The Difference Between A Person & A Soul

Have you ever noticed, noted,

the way a flower opens up in June

but was not there in March?

That's the way it can be

when you see a person

but are shy to perceive

the Truth,

the Love,

the Soul or Spirit

they really are.

You may have missed the flower that will bloom

because you were only looking at thin air,

or thought you were looking at thin air.

When you look at a person

you can choose see the potential for him or her to grow.

This is like seeing a hint of a breath of his soul.

A breath of the part of him that is always inviting him

toward his greater and greater potential.

And, guess what?

You can be part of the wind and rain

that helps him grow.

You can shine sun on him

simply by not dismissing

the potential that is there.

You can be any one's inspiration,

simply by remembering

that each is more than what you see.

In each is buried, potential light.

No matter how realized we are there is always More.

Forget, forgive, the emptiness you see in another.

Forget/forgive his shame and adoration/ardour for false meaning.

Forget/forgive his false search for self and hold him up to True Light.

Smile upon Him, not his poor behavior or his shadow or lack of light,

but on his seed light, his potential, his Name,

the Name* in him calling out to awaken.

*Name is like the next best thing you can be,

the next greatest gift from your soul.
